Know the Difference Between Being a Pirate and a Kid Who Patches!

Ahoy, Great Glasses Play Day mateys! It’s International Talk Like a Pirate Day! What a great day to share a post about a mom whose son patches and is often called a “little pirate.” Do you know the differences between being a pirate and a kid who patches?  NOT-A-PIRATE
In honor of this grrrreat Pirate Day, share this with your mates, because a lot of girls and boys who patch in public don’t like being called pirates by strangers. Girls and boys on a voyage to strengthen their vision love to be pirates when they want to be, but not all the time.

So, have a great Pirate Day and sail the Seven Seas, but don’t “walk the plank” when you see kids patching by calling them pirates. Let them know they are great glasses and patching kids!

Join Great Glasses Play Day and celebrate children in glasses (and patches). It is a day to raise awareness of the importance of early detection and treatment of vision issues.
